'In
Your Car'
Offering
a chauffeur style service to meet customers' requirements in
the comfort of their own vehicle (hence the name) has been
an idea that has been floating around in my head for a
couple of years. It has taken only three months to set
the operation in motion and already has accumulated an
interesting cross-section of clientele. There has been an
increasing amount of interest in the concept and there has
been a wide variety of requirement from customers.

Here are a few
examples: |
A
number of clients have children who need to travel to and from
University. This usually entails packing the parents' car to the roof
with items necessary for life at Uni, delivering the valuable student
and their associated paraphernalia safely onto campus, unloading the
car, then returning the vehicle to the parent.
We collect and
deliver parents and grandparents to families in various parts of the
country. Many elderly people do not wish, or are not able, to negotiate
trains and buses, so being driven in their own or a family member's car
makes them feel more at ease and less stressed.
Driving extremely
busy, high powered executives to conferences and various other
destinations whilst they use their car as a mobile office.
We have discovered
there are many people who own cars who are not enthused about driving
outside the area they know well. In Your Car will give them the
opportunity should they wish, to have their car at their destination
without the "hassle" of getting it there.
For those clients
wishing to travel in luxury we have an associate chauffeur, Mr. Neil
Marshall, who has a Jaguar Limousine available for hire.
We can offer a
personal service to meet any requirement, and all our drivers are
covered by a fully comprehensive insurance policy enabling them to drive
any vehicle, which precludes the need for the customer to make any
alteration to their insurance policy.
All our chauffeurs
are smartly dressed, courteous, professional drivers with a wealth of
experience, able to drive anything from cars to motor-homes.
Whatever your
requirements might be, we are more than happy to give you a quote.
On a personal level I have been involved in transport virtually all my
working life, from delivering oil pipe-line material up to Northern
Canada, to delivering machinery to the Middle East, and taking Bugattis
and Ferraris ( the most expensive load of cars ever carried at that
time) by car transporter to a Christie's auction in Monte Carlo.
Eventually I became involved in Transport Management for a number of
years when redundancy saw me behind the wheel again, this time as a taxi
driver. Now, having literally got my idea on the road, I cannot wait to
see where it might take me.
